Understanding the Story Behind the Cards
I've been studying Tarot since I was a kid, but my practice deepened significantly during the pandemic, when I immersed myself in the study of Tarot through courses, mentorship, and work with different practitioners.
What drew me deeper was discovering how Tarot allows us to think symbolically to explore mythos rather than relying only on logos and logic. For me, those symbols can open a door to something deeper and more meaningful.
Why Tarot?
Tarot has a unique way of helping us see our lives from a different perspective.
I've come to appreciate Tarot not simply as a way to look at what might happen next, but as a symbolic language that can help us explore experiences, patterns, questions, and possibilities.
Symbols can help us access something deeper than logic alone. They give us another way to understand ourselves and the experiences that shape our lives.
A Different Way of Looking at Your Story
For 25 years, I've studied the Hero's Journey through trainings, workshops, and my own exploration of Joseph Campbell's work.
It was through my study of Tarot that I began to recognize a powerful connection between Tarot and the Hero's Journey. That connection eventually led to the development of Tarot Journeys and what I call the Heroic Journey Reading.
This approach brings together Tarot and the Hero's Journey to help people develop greater awareness of themselves and the story they are living.
